Britain’s most popular Proof Press in the 1940’s and 1950’s, hand built in the steel city of Sheffield, and first shown in 1955 it enables quick, clean, customer and Reproduction proofs. The S3 ensures the extremely accurate setting of impression roller and inking carriage. Simple lays enable close register proofing.
The S3 enables you to obtain top quality prints from large formes and posters as well as smaller jobs. It has a
5 inch Impression roller. The ink rollers can be lowered below the bed of the press to allow the impression roller to pass. The up and down movement of the ink carriage and grippers are operated by foot pedals.
Extreme simplicity of design, the geared inking roller covers are new.
