Beyond Letterpress Ltd is a family run partnership based in Gloucestershire that can source and deliver the ultimate in refurbished presses. We also supply wood and lead type and all associated letterpress paraphernalia.​

We have presses currently being restored and ready for sale. We can move, repair and install all presses in the UK and we also ship worldwide.

Who We Are

Rod Shaw
Rod trained as a letterpress compositor and has operated presses all his working life. He also runs a design business and a letterpress print company.

Ben Prothero
Ben is also a blacksmith who is passionate about printing machines and engineering. He is experienced in the logistics of machine moving and restoring damaged and broken presses to their former glory.

Between them they have over 50 years expertise and are always happy to give advice or find the best press for you.
